Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space where you can really get to know yourself. Where you get the chance to be fully seen and heard. Where you and I will work together to move you closer to the life you want. Not sure what you want? That's ok too! You get to show up in therapy just as you are, and we'll chart our way forward together.

 

Sessions last for almost an hour, and I want to recognize that can be intimidating. You might be thinking, "what am I going to talk about for a full hour?" Rest assured! We are in this together, and I'm here to help guide sessions and to help you get the most out of our therapeutic work.​

Relational Therapy

Relational therapy is any therapy that involves more than one person, and while I don't work with families, I do work with all kinds of other relationships - even friendships, which are often as meaningful as the other relationships in our lives but don't often get the same recognition as familial and romantic relationships.​

Relational therapy offers a space for you to create shared understanding within your relationship. To express your deep love and appreciation for your partner(s) or friend(s). To have the hard conversations you may struggle to have on your own. And, you can relax into the knowledge that your relationship is the client, which means you don't have to worry about me taking sides.

​

I also want to recognize that relational therapy can be risky in a way that individual therapy is not because we never know what other people are going to say. You can be assured that I take an active approach in my relational sessions in order to create the safety needed to do this work.
